R V Metal Corporation supplies brass pipes and tubes in seamless and welded/extruded forms (as applicable by size and specification) for heat exchanger and condenser systems, marine environments, plumbing components, decorative/furniture applications and general engineering. Brass selection is not “one-grade-fits-all” — the alloy is chosen based on corrosion media, dezincification risk, strength requirements, forming needs (bending/drawing) and machining performance. C26000 (Cartridge Brass 70/30) is widely used for deep drawing and forming. C27200 (Common Brass 63/37) is a cost-effective general-purpose brass for tube and pipe applications. For marine hardware and higher corrosion resistance in seawater-related service, C46400 (Naval Brass) is commonly specified. For condenser/heat exchanger tubing, industry often specifies dedicated condenser brass families (e.g., Admiralty / Aluminium Brass) depending on service water quality and velocity.

Common Procurement & Technical Questions

Which brass grade should I use: C26000, C27200, or Naval Brass?

Use C26000 when forming/drawing is the priority. Use C27200 for general-purpose tube/pipe supply where cost-performance balance matters. Use C46400 (Naval Brass) for marine environments and improved corrosion resistance requirements. If your service is condenser/heat exchanger water-side, share water quality + velocity; condenser-specific brass families may be required.

Do you supply square and rectangular brass tubes?

Yes. We supply square/rectangular brass tubes as per your dimensions and tolerance requirements. Share OD/WT (or side × side × WT), length, temper and quantity in mm/inches for fast quotation.

Do you provide MTC (Mill Test Certificate) and traceability?
